$9.5 Billion Focus Financial Network Expands to East Coast with Advisor Jennifer McDonald

MINNEAPOLIS, July 10, 2026 -- Focus Financial Network, a wealth management firm overseeing $9.5 billion in client assets, has expanded its footprint to the East Coast by adding financial advisor Jennifer McDonald in Winchester, Virginia.

McDonald joins the firm from a regional brokerage, bringing over 15 years of experience in comprehensive financial planning and portfolio management. She will operate out of a new office in Winchester, marking Focus Financial's first physical presence in the Shenandoah Valley region.

The move is part of a broader strategy to extend the firm's reach beyond its traditional Midwest base. Focus Financial has been steadily growing through advisor acquisitions and organic hiring, with a focus on serving high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners.

"We are thrilled to welcome Jennifer to the team," said a company spokesperson. "Her deep knowledge of the local market and commitment to personalized client service align perfectly with our firm's values."

McDonald said the move allows her to offer clients access to a larger platform of resources while maintaining the close relationships she has built over her career. "Focus Financial provides the infrastructure and support to help clients navigate complex financial decisions, and I am excited to bring that to the Winchester community," she said.

The expansion comes as Focus Financial continues to attract advisors seeking an alternative to large wirehouses. The firm now operates offices in seven states and plans further growth in the Mid-Atlantic region.
